Hilton hotels in Ras Al Khaimah shine at World Travel Awards
Hospitality group Hilton Worldwide picked up four awards for its Hilton Hotels & Resorts and DoubleTree by Hilton properties in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) at the 2015 World Travel Awards.
DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island was crowned Ras Al Khaimah’s Leading Resort and Leading Spa Resort after just one year of operation, while DoubleTree by Hilton Ras Al Khaimah scooped the accolade of Ras Al Khaimah’s Leading Hotel. Hilton Al Hamra Beach & Golf Resort beat out the competition to be voted the UAE’s Leading Beach Resort.
Hilton Al Hamra Beach & Golf Resort - the UAE’s Leading Beach Resort - boasts over 650-m of private white sandy beach and direct access to an 18-hole championship golf course. With an inspired mix of 181 villas and suites, 75 deluxe guest rooms and nine luxurious suites, the hotel offers stunning views of the Arabian Gulf and nearby Hajar Mountains. The hotel also received this year’s TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice award.
DoubleTree by Hilton Ras Al Khaimah was the first DoubleTree by Hilton brand to open in the UAE in 2011 and since that time has been a consistent, award winner including important brand accolades such as the Care Cup and Crystal Cookie Awards. Most recently, DoubleTree by Hilton Ras Al Khaimah shone at the brand’s annual awards, with honours in F&B Excellence, Housekeeping Excellence, Connie Award and the most prestigious DoubleTree by Hilton award, Care Cup 2014.
DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island, the newest resort to join Hilton Worldwide’s portfolio of hotels in Ras Al Khaimah, offers a prominent location on the trunk of Marjan Island. With striking views of the Arabian Gulf, the 485-room features a complementary mix of suites and sea-view rooms, as well as a private 650-mbeach, seven restaurants and bars and extensive recreation and watersports facilities.
