Ras Al Khaimah

Like the “phoenix rising from the ashes” Ras Al Khaimah which has a history that spans over thousands of years, has, in the last decade, evolved whilst still conserving  their history, preserving their wetlands and mangroves, and protecting their wild life.

Ras Al Khaimah is the northernmost region of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), with its white sandy beaches and mountain ranges, has been growing in popularity among tourists and property investors, assisted by the opening of the Hilton Waldorf Astoria in Al Hamra Village, Hilton Al Hamra Beach and Golf Resort and Doubletree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island.

Ras Al Khaimah is 45 minutes from Dubai International Airport and occupies a prime position on some of the world’s most important trade routes, with easy access to other Gulf Corporation Council (GCC) countries. Ras Al Khaimah has experienced continuous economic expansion in recent years, is recognised as a holiday destination and a great place to live.

RAK-CITY

The City of Ras Al Khaimah is the capital of the Emirate and it is divided into two parts by the Creek of Khor Ras Al Khaimah. The Western part of Ras Al Khaimah is known as the Old Town , where the National Museum of Ras Al Khaimah and some government departments are located. Al Khor Road which runs alongside the creek has a corniche which is very popular for the many restaurants and coffee bars, is a great place to go for an evening stroll with friends and family and it also has a jogging trail for those who want to keep fit.
